January - For an Oz dream head to Australia which is hot, hot, hot - and that's just the weather! Sydney is awash with colour - a vibrant city with breathtaking beaches. The Caribbean is also a sure bet with good prices to be found and quieter after the Christmas and New Year rush.
February - Gambia, Goa and the Kenyan coast are good winter sun getaways, and February is one of the driest months for a safari.
March - The beginning of Spring and a Sicily is a mass of blossom, and early Spring sunshine - a true Italian romance. March is a good bet for a honeymoon safari with Kenya having its dry season from December to April.
April - The Caribbean still has reliable weather in April, and prices really tumble after the 15th - the official 'end' of the high season.
May - The east coast of America and the sunshine state of California are ideal at this time - prices are reasonable too. For glitz and glamour head to Las Vegas and the Nevada desert before it gets too hot!
June - Hot tropical destinations at this time of year include Bali. Australia's Northern Territory and Queensland are also now warm and dry. Northern Europe is warmer now with a chance to catch the midnight sun in the Scandinavian cities.
July - Phew! It's hot, hot, hot in the Mediterranean resorts - perfect for newlywed sun lovers. Canada is warm and dry and its stunning scenery can't be beaten.
August - Europe has its peak season in full swing so tends to be hot and pricey. Paris is surprisingly quiet at this time of year since most European tourists and Parisians head to the Med.
September - Best weather in Mauritius right now, and the Mediterranean is warm enough for sea dips, yet cooler and quieter for sightseeing in cultural rich capitals.
October - Boston and New England is enjoying its famous Fall with stunning colours on the trees and plenty of sunshine. And Hong Kong is at its best: warm, not too humid and perfect for a spot of shopping.
November - Mexico has the odd rain but still basks in warm temperatures. Thailand is cooler and quieter with less humid heat.
December - Sunny Dubai is at its best - perfect for shopping and plenty of chance to soak up the winter sun. The Maldives has to be a bankable honeymoon destination - simply stunning at this time of year. The North African resorts of Tunisia and Morocco make unique sun-based destinations for a Christmas honeymoon.
